Eight years ago The Booja Booja Company began a relationship with Persion Dowry in Kashmir, India. Persian Dowry employs 150 talented artisans who make and paint these beautiful gift boxes, using intricate designs which have been passed down for generations. Persian Dowry endeavours to be a sustainable, community based organisation, assuming responsibility for caring for the artists and their families. No machinary and minimal energy are used.
